At a certain point in my journey with AI, I had a realization that, looking back, changed everything for me. I realized that most people are using AI in a way that was never designed to create real business impact.

I have been a member of the AI Business Founders Hive since shortly after its founding. Laura and Dan, have put a lot of effort and care into the group. They are both highly experienced in business and technology, which is very obvious in their teachings and efforts. The Founders Mind Set and Business as a System ARC.OS classes are a master-level series on how to find, understand, and market to any business niche. I'm currently conducting an AI audit for a small nonprofit in West Virginia. A friend and former colleague works for them now. I presented a generative AI workshop for them back in March.
Since then, my friend has been "greasing the wheels" saying, "We should get David in here to take a look at how he can help us." Boom! I met with the CEO, and he was all in! We inked the deal a couple of weeks ago, and I've already been paid. My first $ in my new business!

I didn’t come to AI through trends or theory. I came to it through business.
Long before AI became a headline, I was working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and scale — inside one of the largest tech companies in the world, focused on AI incubation and go-to-market. My job wasn’t to talk about what AI could do. It was to figure out how it could actually work inside real organizations.
At the same time, I was building in public.
I started teaching on YouTube years ago, long before it was popular to talk about AI in business. That channel grew to over 500,000 subscribers — not through hacks or hype, but by explaining complex ideas clearly and helping people apply them in the real world.
Along the way, I didn’t just create content.
I built businesses.
I coached founders.
I built and ran agencies.

What matters most to me is this: I’ve seen AI fail far more often than it succeeds.
